Sol Surf Camp offers weekly summer surf camps at 22nd Street Beach in Del Mar, California. All levels of surfers are welcome, ages 6 and up.
With the rise of competetive surfing, it seems that the soulful element of surf culture is fading away. Sol Surf Camp is putting the soul back in surfing by showing the new generation of surfers that there is more to surfing than just competing and showing off. Surfing is about enjoying and respecting nature and having fun with your friends. Sol Surf campers will improve their surf skills while surfing side by side with our experienced surf coaches. They will learn how and why they should respect the ocean, beach and other surfers, all while enjoying one of the most thrilling sports in the world.
Sol Surf Camp maintains a minimum of one to three instructor/camper ratio. This allows our instructors to pay close attention to each individual camper and adjust instruction to meet each surfer's particular needs. While in the water, instructors are helping, watching, encouraging, and giving pointers to campers to help them improve their surfing skills. Campers will have a blast surfing and learning about the ocean in a fun safe environment.
